Recover a photo that now only lives on your home or lock screen. Wallpaper Saver reads the original image your phone keeps behind the wallpaper, not the cropped copy on screen, and saves it to your gallery at full resolution in its original format. Free, with no ads, no account and nothing sent anywhere.
> HOW IT WORKS
- The original, not a screenshot: Android keeps the source file you chose as a wallpaper. Wallpaper Saver copies that file byte for byte, so nothing is lost to cropping or recompression.
- Home and lock screen: Each is shown with its size and format and saved separately to Pictures/Wallpaper Saver, where every gallery app can see it.
- Clear about the edge cases: Live wallpapers, a lock screen that shares the home picture, and lock screens some manufacturers store separately are each explained rather than left as a blank.
- One permission, explained: On Android 13 and later the system only shares the wallpaper file with apps that have All files access, so the app asks for it once and uses it for nothing else.
